What It Does

While Power Transformers handle transmission, **Distribution Transformers** handle the delivery. They take high voltage from the grid (usually 11kV or 33kV) and step it down to the standard 415V/230V required for factories, buildings, and homes.

Our transformers are designed for 24/7 continuous operation, even at low loads, ensuring minimal "No-Load Losses" to save electricity costs over the unit's lifespan.

Design & Construction

Engineered for durability and low maintenance:

1. Core Construction: We use high-permeability CRGO steel stacked in a mitered joint to reduce magnetic noise and losses.
2. Coil Winding: LV windings utilize paper-insulated copper foil or strip, while HV windings use multi-layer enamel copper wire.
3. Tank & Oil: The hermetically sealed tank is filled with dehydrated mineral oil, preventing moisture ingress and ensuring excellent insulation.
4. Protection: Fitted with an Off-Circuit Tap Changer (OCTC) to manually adjust voltage based on the site's average supply.
