A Servo Stabilizer, also known as a Servo Voltage Stabilizer, is an electrical device designed to automatically maintain a stable voltage level to protect electrical equipment from voltage fluctuations.

How It Works:

A servo stabilizer uses a servo motor-controlled mechanism to regulate voltage. When the input voltage fluctuates from the desired range, the servo motor adjusts an auto-transformer, which in turn corrects the output voltage to a safe and consistent level. This process happens continuously in real-time.

Main Components:

  • Servo Motor: Drives the auto-transformer to regulate voltage.
  • Buck/Boost Transformer: Adds or subtracts voltage from the supply.
  • Control Circuit: Monitors incoming voltage and sends signals to adjust the servo motor.
  • Auto-transformer: Alters voltage as needed to stabilize output.
  • Carbon Brush Assembly: Ensures smooth contact on the transformer tap.
